While in Istanbul last week I visited the Archeological Museum and was thrilled to find a room full of pottery from 200-300 BC. The pieces must have been made for functionality but I thought they were also lovely to look at. Here are a few photos that I took through the display case windows.
How interesting! I wonder if your pieces will be displayed in a museum in a couple of thousand years. If pottery could talk, these pieces would have some pretty amazing stories!
